Referred to below as the "Provider". A "User" is any person using the app.
02 What Determinds is
Determinds is a social app supporting personal goals. It lets you keep a profile, record goals, chat one-to-one and in groups, send photos, videos and documents, post stories visible for 24 hours, create polls and share a calendar of events. It also provides a map showing your position and other members nearby, and a step counter with a community ranking.
Map and step counter
- Both features are optional and require the relevant system permissions: access to location while using the app (iOS/Android; the app does not collect location in the background) and consent to read your step count in Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). Without those permissions the features do not work, while the rest of the app works normally.
- You can turn off the visibility of your position on the map and your participation in the step ranking at any time in the app's settings.
- Location data and step counts are indicative only. Their accuracy depends on GPS signal, device sensors and the data recorded in Apple Health or Health Connect — the Provider does not guarantee that they are correct or continuously measured.
- Using other Users' location data outside the purpose of the feature is prohibited: you must not track, follow, collect or record other people's positions, nor use the map to solicit, canvass, or for any purpose that puts others' safety at risk.
03 Paid — monthly subscription
Determinds is a paid app, offered as a monthly subscription. Access to full functionality (profile, goals, chats, stories, calendar, groups) requires an active subscription. Without one, a User's access to the app may be limited or blocked.
- Subscription price: PLN 49.99 / month — gross amount, VAT included. The current price is always shown before purchase in the Apple App Store or Google Play; in other countries the store shows the corresponding local price.
- Payment is processed solely through the store the app was downloaded from: Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), under their own terms. The Provider does not process or store payment card data — Apple or Google is the payment operator.
- The subscription renews automatically for a further monthly billing period and is charged on the renewal date. To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling: at any time in your account settings — iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep access to premium features until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your account in the app or uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Price changes: we give at least 30 days' notice of an increase through the store and/or an in-app message or email. Continuing to use the app after the new price takes effect means you accept it; otherwise cancel before the next billing date.
- Refunds and payment complaints: handled under Apple's / Google's policies — direct any claim about a charge to the store operator (Apple Support / Google Play Help). The Provider will help verify your account status once you give the transaction ID or the account's email address.
- Invoices and receipts are issued by Apple or Google as the seller. On request, and once you give the account's email address, the Provider will confirm that a subscription is active.
- Failed or missing payment suspends access to premium features until the amount due is settled or the subscription is purchased again. Data transfer costs are billed by the User's mobile operator under their own tariff.
Managing your subscription: you cancel, change plan or check the next billing date only in your Apple ID / Google Play subscription settings. We cannot cancel a subscription on the basis of an email — you have to cancel it yourself in the store.
04 Who may use the app
- The app may only be used by people aged 18 or over with full legal capacity.
- You need a device running iOS or Android, an internet connection, and a Google or Apple account to sign in with.
- By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
05 Your account
- One person, one account, used personally.
- Profile details must be truthful. Impersonating another person or creating accounts on someone else's behalf is prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your Google or Apple sign-in secure.
- You can delete your account at any time: Profile → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible.
06 Phone number in your profile
Providing a phone number is optional. A number added to your profile is visible to all Users of the app and allows them to call you. By providing it you agree to it being shared in that way. You can remove it at any time in profile settings.
07 Prohibited content
You must not post, send or share content that:
- insults, harasses, intimidates, humiliates or threatens others,
- incites hatred or discriminates on grounds of race, origin, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age or disability,
- is pornographic, graphic or depicts violence,
- is unlawful or encourages unlawful acts,
- infringes copyright, trademarks or personal rights,
- discloses other people's personal data without their consent,
- constitutes spam, unsolicited advertising or phishing,
- contains malware or links to it,
- impersonates another person, brand or institution.
Using other Users' location data to track, follow, collect or record their position, or to contact them for purposes unrelated to the map feature, is prohibited. Circumventing app security, scraping other Users' data and interfering with the service are likewise prohibited.
08 Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
The Provider operates a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and abusive users. Content breaching section 7 is removed, and the account of its author may be suspended or permanently deleted without warning and without any right to compensation.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours of receipt.
09 Reporting content and users
Any User may report content or a person breaching these Terms:
- using the "Report" action available on messages, stories and user profiles,
- or by email to kontakt@determinds.com.pl.
Please describe what the report concerns, who posted the content and what the breach is. After reviewing a report, the Provider may remove the content, warn the User, or suspend or permanently delete their account. The reporter is informed of the outcome.
Users may also block another User themselves. A blocked person cannot send messages to or view stories of the User who blocked them.
10 Moderation
In selected group conversations, Users' messages are published only after a group administrator approves them. The Provider and administrators may remove content breaching these Terms and restrict access to app features for Users who breach them.
11 User content
- You retain the rights to the content you post.
- By posting content you grant the Provider a free, non-exclusive licence to store, reproduce and display it, solely as needed to operate the app and only for as long as the content remains in the app.
- You confirm that you hold the rights to the content you post and that posting it infringes no third-party rights.
- Deleting your content ends that licence, except for copies other Users have already received.
12 Availability
The Provider aims to keep the app running continuously but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance windows, updates and outages caused by third-party providers are possible. The Provider may develop, change and retire individual features.
13 Liability
- The app is provided on a paid subscription basis, "as is". The Provider makes every effort to keep the service working correctly but does not guarantee uninterrupted access — availability is covered in section 12.
- The map and step counter are informational and indicative only. The Provider is not liable for decisions taken on their basis — in particular about routes, navigation, travel or training goals. The app is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat or monitor any health condition; consult a doctor on health matters.
- The Provider is not liable for content posted by Users, nor for how Users handle content shared with them by others.
- The Provider is not liable for damage arising from use of the app contrary to these Terms, from loss of access to your Google or Apple account, or from force majeure.
- These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, in particular liability for intentional damage and liability towards consumers.
14 Termination
- You may cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple App Store / Google Play settings (at least 24 hours before the period ends). Cancelling stops automatic renewals but does not produce a refund for the current paid period — access continues until it ends.
- You may delete your account in the app at any time: Profile → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible but does not cancel the subscription — you must cancel it separately in the store, otherwise the next charge will be taken despite the deleted account.
- The Provider may suspend or delete the account of a User who grossly or persistently breaches these Terms, in particular sections 7 and 8. In that case there is no refund for the current period unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
- The Provider may discontinue the service with 30 days' notice. Active subscriptions will not be renewed after the end date; any settlement for a period paid in advance is subject to the store's policy.
15 Complaints
Complaints about the app can be sent to kontakt@determinds.com.pl and should describe the problem and give the account's email address. We reply within 14 days of receipt. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution, including the EU online dispute resolution platform.
16 Changes to these Terms
The Provider may amend these Terms for valid reasons, in particular changes in law, app features or technical conditions. Changes are announced in the app or by email at least 7 days in advance. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means accepting it; a User who does not accept it may delete their account.
17 Final provisions
- These Terms are governed by Polish law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of protection under the mandatory law of their country of habitual residence.
- The agreement under these Terms binds only the User and the Provider. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to it and are not responsible for the app or its content. The Provider alone is responsible for any claims relating to the app.
- Personal data handling is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
- If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.

COMMUNITY
GUIDELINES
A world of people who want more
from life — harder and further.
Welcome to the world of DETERMINDS
We are not just a group. We are building an environment meant to change its members' lives for real.
From today you belong to the WORLD OF DETERMINDS — a world of people who want more from life, harder and further.
You are building with us a community of ambitious people who do not want merely to watch life happen, but to shape it deliberately. Together we grow businesses, pursue goals, look after our health, push past our own limits and help one another achieve more.
We want DETERMINDS to be something far greater than an ordinary group. We are building one large family founded on trust, mutual respect, loyalty, commitment and real support.
Be proud to be part of DETERMINDS. We do not want everyone here. We look for people who share our values, who want to grow, and who are ready not only to take from the community but also to bring their own energy, knowledge and experience to it.
From this moment you represent not only yourself, but also the community we are all building together.
Responsibility first
The first rules protect the trust, reputation and interests of every DETERMINDS member.
01 Responsibility for business cooperation
If you enter into cooperation with another DETERMINDS member, make sure you are 100% prepared to deliver on your declarations and commitments.
We make no promises we cannot keep. We do not declare results, deadlines or capabilities we are unable to provide.
Every cooperation is undertaken at the participants' own responsibility. DETERMINDS and its administrators are not a party to such arrangements and are not responsible for their performance. For larger projects we recommend a written agreement.
02 Mutual discounts and benefits
DETERMINDS exists so that every active member gains real benefits from belonging to it.
We exchange knowledge, contacts, experience and preferential terms for our services. If you run a business or provide a service, you should — where possible — offer members a special discount, an added benefit or better terms of cooperation.
Give your service to a DETERMINDS member for less, and use other members' services for less yourself.
The size and terms of the discount are agreed between the parties concerned.
03 Approval for promotion and business proposals
Every request to like, comment on or share material, and every offer, fundraiser, recruitment drive or business proposal addressed to members, must be approved by the administrators in advance.
This applies to posts in groups and to bulk private messages. A breach may result in the content being removed, a warning, and — where it recurs — removal from the community.
We protect the community
DETERMINDS is not a contact database to be exploited. Trust is our capital.
04 No spam or pushy selling
We do not use DETERMINDS to send bulk offers, advertising or affiliate links, or to chase clients aggressively.
You may tell others about your business, product or service only in the appropriate place and with the administrators' approval. Harvesting contacts from a group and sending members unsolicited private offers is prohibited.
05 No exploiting the community
Using contacts gained in DETERMINDS for fraud, manipulation, pressure, dishonest solicitation of money, pyramid schemes or any unlawful activity is prohibited.
Such conduct may result in immediate removal from the community without prior warning.
06 Confidentiality and trust
Information about members' private lives, problems, business plans, finances and experiences must not be passed to third parties without their consent.
We do not publish screenshots, recordings or extracts of private conversations without the consent of the people concerned. What we share inside DETERMINDS stays inside DETERMINDS.
07 Representing Determinds
If you appear publicly as a DETERMINDS member, protect the community's good name. Without the administrators' approval you may not speak officially on its behalf, use its name or materials commercially, or present private opinions as the position of the whole community.
Respect over ego
We may differ. We may not demean one another.
08 Mutual respect
Everyone has a right to their own view, opinions and experience. You may disagree, but always express it civilly — without mockery, insults, humiliation or aggression.
We criticise ideas and actions, not people.
09 No talking behind backs
We do not talk about other members behind their backs and we do not build relationships at the expense of those who are absent. If you have a problem, speak to that person directly or report the matter to the administrators.
We speak well of absent people, or not at all.
10 Resolving conflicts
Conflicts are resolved first in a direct, calm conversation. We do not bring private disputes into the groups and we do not stage public reckonings. Where the parties cannot reach agreement, they may ask the administrators for help.
11 Constructive feedback
Mutual support does not mean unconditional agreement. We may give honest feedback, provided it is expressed with respect, has a concrete purpose and — where possible — comes with a proposed solution.
Every post matters
Order in the groups lets us focus on what is genuinely valuable.
12 The Chit-chat group
The only group meant for casual conversation, short messages, jokes, spontaneous photos and content without much substance is the CHIT-CHAT (POGADUCHY) group.
In all other groups we post only content that fits the topic and adds value. The relaxed nature of CHIT-CHAT does not permit advertising spam, bulk offers or unapproved business proposals.
13 One thought — one message
Put your point in a single, reasonably complete message. Do not split one sentence across several or a dozen posts. Keep notifications to a minimum and conversations readable.
14 Content with value
With a photo of a workout, a book, a podcast, a meal or an event, add at least a short description, takeaway, recommendation or question. We avoid empty photos and content without context. Every post outside CHIT-CHAT should add value.
The community lives through you
We do not watch from the sidelines. We take part, we help, and we show our own progress.
15 Activity in the topic groups
We care about high and regular activity, particularly in the groups:
- LIBRARY — books, podcasts, materials and the key takeaways.
- GOALS TO ACHIEVE — goals, progress, results and mutual accountability.
- SPORTS FANATICS — training, progress, healthy habits and motivation.
Activity also means reactions, answering questions, sharing knowledge and offering constructive support.
16 Minimum required activity
The minimum is one valuable post, or active participation in a substantive discussion, once a month.
DETERMINDS is an active community, not a group for passive observation.
Prolonged inactivity without notice may lead to a conversation with the administrators and subsequently to removal from the community.
17 Attendance at online meetings
Every member attends at least one online meeting a month. Meetings are held on Sundays at 10:00 or 20:00, according to the schedule. If an important reason prevents you from attending for a longer period, let the administrators know.
We build the brand together
The stronger DETERMINDS is, the greater the opportunities for every member.
18 Social media and supporting the project
Every member is required to follow the official DETERMINDS social media profiles.
Where possible we support official material with likes, meaningful comments and shares. The more of the team who take part actively, the more visibility we build online.
We are not building reach for one person. We are growing a project everyone can benefit from.
Requests to promote private material require the administrators' approval.
19 Taking part in events
If you sign up for an event with a limited number of places, treat your declaration responsibly. If you have to withdraw, tell the organiser as soon as possible.
Repeatedly signing up and not turning up without notice may result in restricted participation in future events.
20 Image and recordings
By accepting these guidelines, a member consents to their image, recorded during DETERMINDS conferences, meetings, trips and other events, being captured and distributed free of charge.
The consent covers informational, promotional and documentary purposes, including the website, social media, advertising materials and YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
The consent lasts 36 months from the date it is given, with no territorial limits and without remuneration.
It may be withdrawn by contacting the administrators; withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier publications.
We protect the standard of the project
The quality of the community is every member's shared responsibility.
21 Responsibility for information
Every member is responsible for the content, advice, recommendations and information they publish. Members' content does not constitute official legal, tax, financial, investment or medical advice. Consult a professional on important decisions.
22 Looking after the atmosphere
We do not accept persistent complaining with no attempt to find a solution, provoking conflict, or deliberately undermining others' motivation.
You may talk about difficulties and ask for help. We do expect, however, a willingness to listen to feedback and to act.
23 Reporting breaches
If you see the guidelines being broken, action harmful to DETERMINDS, or conduct inconsistent with the community's values, tell the administrators.
We do not regard this as informing on anyone. We are jointly responsible for the quality of the project and want to keep the community running to the highest standard.
A report should be based on facts and made discreetly — without public accusations or stirring up conflict. The administrators will verify it and decide how to respond.
Administrators and consequences
Standards only matter if we all keep to them.
24 Administrators' powers
The administrators may call out people who do not follow the guidelines, disrupt the groups or act to the community's detriment. Such remarks are part of maintaining standards, not a personal attack.
Depending on the breach, the administrators may: give a remark, issue a warning, remove content, temporarily restrict access to groups or events, or remove a member from the community.
A serious breach may result in immediate removal without prior warning.
25 Changes to the guidelines
The administrators may update these guidelines as the community develops. Members will be informed of material changes. Continued participation after they are announced means accepting the current version.
We bring at least as much value to the community as we want to take from it.
We help one another, share knowledge, keep our word, and together build an environment where everyone has a chance to grow faster.
We are Determinds.
